Terms & Condition

1. Definitions

  • “Us” or “we” refers to Sky Chauffeurs.

  • “You” or “your” refers to any individual, company, or organisation placing a booking with us.


2. Booking & Transfer

  • Completion of a booking or use of our services indicates your acceptance of these terms.

  • Sky Chauffeurs allows sufficient time for the chauffeur to reach the destination and collect passengers at the booked time.

    • 15 minutes free waiting time is included for all bookings except airport pickups.

    • Airport bookings include 60 minutes free waiting time plus one hour of parking, starting from the moment the plane lands.

  • You are responsible for booking your vehicle with enough time to meet airline check-in requirements and to account for potential traffic delays.

  • Any special requests must be stated at the time of booking.

  • You must book an appropriately sized vehicle for the number of passengers and luggage.

    • A child of any age counts as one passenger.

    • We will not transport more passengers than legally allowed, and we cannot guarantee carriage of excessive luggage.

  • Drinking and smoking in the vehicles is strictly prohibited.


3. Payment

  • Sky Chauffeurs will email a quotation based on the information provided.

    • Quotes may change if the itinerary, number of passengers, or vehicle requirements change.

    • Additional charges such as waiting time, extra parking, or extra destinations may apply.

  • All bookings must be fully prepaid at least 2 days before travel, unless Sky Chauffeurs specifies otherwise.

    • Accepted payments: debit/credit card, bank transfer.

    • Cheques are not accepted.

  • Sky Chauffeurs reserves the right to pursue statutory debt recovery costs if payment terms are not met.


4. Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be communicated to Sky Chauffeurs as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations more than 24 hours before the travel date will be fully refunded.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the booking incur a 50% fee.

    Cancellations within 4 hours of the booking incur a 100% fee.

  • Sky Chauffeurs may cancel services and refund bookings in circumstances beyond its control, including national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, or extreme weather.


5. Liability

  • Sky Chauffeurs aims to deliver timely service but is not liable for delays caused by breakdowns, traffic, or other conditions outside our control.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or missed business opportunities.

  • If a vehicle encounter issues, Sky Chauffeurs will attempt to arrange alternative transport as soon as possible.

  • Passengers are responsible for reimbursing Sky Chauffeurs for any loss, damage, expense, or cost resulting from their actions.

  • Sky Chauffeurs may refuse or terminate a booking immediately if driver safety or vehicle safety is at risk due to violence, abuse, or damage.

    • Passengers may be asked to leave the vehicle when safe.

    • No refund will be issued if a journey is terminated for these reasons.

  • Sky Chauffeurs reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.


6. Children

  • UK law exempts taxis from child-seat regulations, but child safety is the responsibility of the parent/carer.

    • If you require a child seat, you must provide it, fit it, and secure the child yourself.

    • If you need us to accommodate a child seat, this must be stated under special requirements.


7. Complaints

  • All complaints must be submitted in writing via email to office@skychauffeurs.co.uk.

  • We aim to respond within 48 hours, but during busy periods a response may take up to 14 days.
